Congratulations to the Orchard Park Maroon Modified hockey team for winning the Western New York High School Club League tournament on July 15. The four-day tournament featured 24 modified teams from Western New York.
Orchard Park played in the red division and earned a record of 4 wins and zero losses despite losing Zach Biasillo to a broken leg in their second game.
Orchard Park played Kenmore East for the championship picking up a 7-2 victory to take first place honors.
The OP Maroon squad competed in the Southtowns High School Club Hockey League during the season and went undefeated with a 9-0-1 record. The team scored an impressive 74 goals while allowing just 13 to win the regular season title.
